Make Yourself Right at Home
There's everything you need at Tukto Lodge to make your time off the water a comfortable and relaxing experience. At both our Mosquito and Dubawnt camps, every day starts with steaming hot coffee and a hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, pancakes, French toast, oatmeal and fruit. Of course, a trip to the Arctic would not be complete without an unforgettable shore lunch. Your own catch of the day is prepared to perfection by our guides. Try their crispy lake trout fillets, fried potatoes and beans, and you're sure to pronounce this meal world-class! After your day on the water, join us in the dining hall and enjoy a home cooked dinner with all the fixings. Don't be shy! Go for seconds. We're used to ravenous appetites.
Once your belly is full, kick back and relax (unless you're hoping for another round of fishing!). Play a hand of cribbage or poker, enjoy the views, and share your fishing stories.
Our genuine and attentive service doesn't stop when you're off the water. In fact, our Tukto Lodge chefs, servers and staff are an integral part of the best adventure of your life. Our famous Canadian hospitality loves a challenge. Let us know what you need to make your time in the Arctic extra special and we will make it happen. Just can't sleep without an extra pillow? Is there a favorite type of liquor you would like us to have chilled and waiting upon arrival? Done and done. Tukto Lodge is here to nourish your belly, mind and spirit. It's our pleasure!
Using different configurations, we can comfortably accommodate up to eight people in our three guest cabins on Mosquito Lake, which are heated and include modern bathroom facilities. Trust us, a hot shower never felt so good than after pulling dozens of trout and grayling out of frigid Arctic waters! Fresh sheets, blankets and linens are included and maid service is provided daily.
Our Mosquito Lake camp also has a tackle shop which offers the fishing lures, leaders and line that will perfect your technique on our catch and release lakes, and keep you on board with our single barbless hook requirements. You can also snag a Tukto Lodge souvenir cap or shirt to shore up your bragging rights at home.
Our Dubawnt Lake camp is a little more rustic, but still has everything you need to ensure a comfortable and relaxing time off the water. We can comfortably accommodate up to eight people in our three guest cabins on Dubawnt Lake. All cabins are heated, and there is a separate shower house, and outhouses nearby. Fresh sheets, blankets and linens are included and maid service is provided daily.
