Hello!

My name is Bob Huitikka and I'd like to personally welcome you to Tukto Lodge.

Tukto Lodge is a dream come true for me. When I first saw Tukto, I couldn't believe how beautiful the area was, and, as an avid fisherman I fell in love with the amazing grayling and trophy trout fishing. I acquired it in 1994 and reopened it, so that others could enjoy it as well.

The word "Tukto" means caribou in the Inuit language, and when you are here, you'll soon see why our fly-in fishing camp is named Tukto Lodge. We've had herds of several thousand all around our camp, some only 20 feet away.

We have a commitment to offering you not only the most unique fishing experience you could ever have, but also a carefree, effortless vacation. We arrange everything for you; all you have to do is pack your gear! Included in the price of our Mosquito Lake camp and Dubawnt Lake outposts are delicious, home-cooked meals, expert guides, quality equipment and gear, and a staff that goes that extra mile to make sure your vacation and Arctic adventure is perfect.

To our many friends, welcome back. Thank you for making Tukto Lodge such a success. To our new visitors, we invite you to come join us in the beauty of the Canadian Arctic, where you'll experience an unforgettable fishing trip or nature vacation. If you have any questions, just give us a call at 1-800-760-0924, or e-mail us. So come and join us in the Land of the Midnight Sun for the adventure of a lifetime, and the very best in Arctic fishing!

Happy fishing,
Bob Huitikka
